  I feel grateful to have found South Church about 5 years ago. While looking for a summer activity for my daughter, a friend and member suggested their award winning Summer of Service Camp and the vibrant, progressive UCC Church has become my second home. She has found a place of faith and acceptance in the youth program. I have grown in my faith, leaned in to participate in Worship Services through the amazing music program, and served on various boards. Even my engineer husband, the proverbial Doubting Thomas, joined the congregation. The members of the congregation are an exceptional bunch of people who are welcoming, positive, and live in their faith. I think South Church in Andover (the big iconic white church on Central Street at the crest of the road) it is a rare and lovely find. The Pastor, Dana, as well as the new Associate Pastor, Alex are two very caring, intelligent and witty theologians who elevate us and aid us all in our individual spiritual journeys.

  For the past 10 years, South Church has been an anchor for my family and me. We have found it to be a nourishing, safe place where you can learn and grow and interact with wonderful people of all ages. Our pastors, Dana and Alex, are inspiring, genuine people that are passionate about what they do. SC offers an abundance of opportunities for learning, serving, and worship. Children are a vital, cherished part of our community and our music is awesome! It may sound clique, but I believe SC is a special place. If you are a seeker on any level, you will be truly welcome here! Come as you are--I encourage you to check us out!!
